New Years Eve......Over priced drinks, entry fees to normal pubs, overcrowding, no transport home and even if you do get a taxi its at least £5 before you get in, bad weather and the pressure to have the best night ever...I think I'm gonna stay in tonight!

It's my birthday today....and being 30 is not as bad as people may think!

Ok, so my son called me old, but made up for it with a beautiful card, a great present and the best hug I've had from him in ages! My other two kids said nothing about my age!

Mech, on the other hand, couldn't resist and got me a coaster with 'The Worlds Best 30 Year Old' on it! But his card and presents more than ade up for it!! :P


So.... if any of you are nearing 30, don't worry about it, it's no different to 29, and you'll still be the same person!!

I'm off to enjoy my day.
